RuralPowerKY.com serves as an educational and communications hub for consumer-members of electric cooperatives to learn about and advocate for co-op issues.

Kentucky’s Rural Electric Cooperative Caucus is the official group of state lawmakers who are dedicated to representing the interests of local co-op constituents by supporting policies that promote reliable energy at competitive rates.

Voices for Cooperative Power is the grassroots coalition of electric co-op consumer-members in Kentucky and across the country who communicate co-op priorities with policymakers.

Co-ops Vote aims to increase voter participation and civic engagement by co-op members by providing useful information about candidates, elections, and issues that impact their co-ops and communities.

The Youth Tour program provides outstanding high school juniors all-expense-paid trips to Frankfort and Washington, D.C. where they meet elected leaders and learn the history of the United States and electric co-ops.

For nearly 60 years, board members and employees of Kentucky's electric cooperatives have voluntarily contributed to a political action committee to support political candidates who recognize the vital role of electric cooperatives in their local communities. Consumer-members of electric cooperatives are also eligible to contribute to the America's Electric Cooperatives PAC, which works in concert with Kentucky Electric Cooperatives PAC to support political candidates who champion the interests of electric cooperatives and co-op consumer-members.
