In August, Salt River Electric hosted a series of Electricity Workshops for local 4-H members at its warehouse facility on Parkway Drive in Bardstown.
In the workshops, 4-H members learned about electric safety, building electric circuits, and were given a tour of the warehouse facility. Salt River Electric employee, Tracy Hopper & retired lineman, Billy Marks, assisted with the event. A pole-top rescue demonstration was also provided by Salt River Electric linemen.
