To better serve you, KAECCommunications is changing and adding to safety messaging and materials supplied to you by KAEC. Based on your comments, we believe the new safety materials will provide you with the updated and contemporary look you desire.
- As of January 1, 2018, KAECwill no longer maintain a membership with SafeElectricity.org. Unless your co-op decides to maintain its own membership with SafeElectricity.org, those materials should no longer be used by Kentucky co-ops. If you have already selected files to use for your January local section, that is acceptable because the magazine actually prints and mails in December.
- KAECwill distribute a monthly safety package for use by local co-ops. This package will include editorial content, graphics for flyers and bill stuffers, social media posts and website banners. We expect to send the first installment on December 1.
- KAECwill note any limitations on stock photos or art which is used in this package.
- In concert with KAECCommunications staff, the Member & External Relations Committee of the KAECBoard made this strategic decision. We will be updating the committee on the feedback we receive as you utilize the materials.
